Meet theTeam
We have a fantastic team of hard working dogs, who are, first and foremost our pets. They have gone through extensive training and assessments to become Lost Dog tracking dogs and they are all very individual characters!

Each dog will soon have their own donations link so if they have searched for your own lost dog you can donate to them their favourite toy or food!
For now, if you would like to donate towards the teams costs please click the link below.

Chase
Border Collie, 7yrs old. Chase is a rescue from Ireland. This energetic and loving lad is normally found in the flyball lanes but has found a new love in tracking. Chase has a heart of gold-he loves everyone he meets. He loves nothing more than going swimming or paddleboarding with his owenr and then happily snuggling up on the sofa for cuddles.

Inca
Inca - aka Full Steam Ahead. She cannot sit still for more than 5 mins and loves to work.. She is happiest outdoors and really enjoys sniffing and searching, no matter what the weather. She is super fast and inexhaustible; and loves a good tennis ball.
When she is forced to take a rest she loves a cuddle on the sofa a home. For Inca there is no such thing as too much food, she flips from fast asleep to wide awake in a nanosecond!

Lentil
AKA Lenny Long Legs

Lentil is a 2 year old English Springer Spaniel and she is training and working hard to copy her big sister Radish and be an Operational Lost Dog Tracking Dog.
Lentils assessment is coming up next week, so please wish us both luck (me and Len) because she can’t wait to join the Big Girls Juice and Radish on the LDT Squad

Jef
Jef the border collie, the Jef of all trades. He has high drive and intelligence which shows through whilst tracking. This has also proved beneficial as a competitive agility dog, and a fast mountain bike trail dog.
He is always keen to work when outside and seems impossible to tire out.
When not working he is often found exploring the country in his Land Rover Defender. Jef loves liver paste and rubber balls.

Juice
Juice, aka the bramble basher!
Juice can usually been seen towing her handler Jules around. She is a 4yr old springer spaniel who likes to track at speed and is very determined, no area is too thick for her to get into, the handler is a different matter! She loves to track but also does a bit of agility for fun and is usually seen running around with something in her mouth. She is a demon when she is out working but an absolute sweetie to live with and loves cuddles on the sofa.

Noodle
Noodle, aka pooh bear!
Pooh is an 11yr old border collie and full sister to Zero whom is also in the team, and she lives with Juice.
She is the sweetest collie who loves everyone and just wants to please.
When she isn’t tracking she also goes truffle hunting and loves long walks just about anywhere.. She is very methodical and steady when tracking which makes her ideal for busy areas.
She loves playing tug, having cuddles and snoozing in ‘her’ cupboard under the stairs !

Radish
Also known as MadbadRad, for reasons we won’t go into,
Radish loved tracking from her very first go, when she was just 6 months old - it made all her hair stand on end with excitement, and took her several hours to come back down to earth

Aside from Tracking, Radish likes scent detection for sport, swimming, getting muddy, sunning herself, eating, and she sleeps on my pillow every night

Wilson
Wilson is a (nearly) 5 year old Fox Red Labrador. Wilson could be nicknamed Sporty Spice, he loves to try his paw at dog sports; Hoopers, Agility , Scentwork , Mantrailing and Tracking, he enjoys it all, but he has a particular love of tracking. He gets very excited when his tracking harness goes on and can’t wait to get started.
When he’s not doing his sporting hobbies, Wilson loves to spend time at the beach playing with his 2 housemates and having a swim in the sea.
If Wilson wasn’t a Tracking dog, he would love to be a professional treat taster ……he’s never found a food he didn’t like !

Zero
Aka - The Little Badger.
She is a 11 year old Border Collie, tracking is her thing! She puts lots of effort into it and is very passionate and precise.
Other than tracking she is known in our household as the ‘fun police’ and likes to keep the other dogs in check, making sure they are not getting up to mischief and will happily grass them up.
She’s a pleasure to live with, having an off switch and encouraging everyone to be calm. She also gives the best cuddles!
If you are in her human family pack… she likes to let you know by doing what I like to call ‘flyball turns’ on you.
You are very privileged if you are in her pack because she only gives affection to the people she truly loves!

Atlas
Atlas is one of the team currently in training to become operational
Atlas - aka The Ginger Ninja - is a working machine who absolutely loves any type of activity that includes sniffing and/or running, which makes tracking a natural choice. All activities are done at 100%, warp speed, and with full power.
As 'hench' as he looks (and he works hard to maintain that muscle) he loves a sofa cuddle at home.
He loves any toy he can roll around on and hide under his blanket. He literally jumps for joy when it's dinner time - but really doesn't savour the moment!
Atlas lives to work, and is a fantastic, collaborative, and fun working partner.

Damson
Another of the team in training is Damson is a 3 year old Kelpie X BC who came to live with me when he was 11 months old
He is working hard to qualify as an operational LDT by the end of 2025
Damson is a very sensitive soul who worries about making mistakes so we are taking our time with this.
Apart from tracking he likes herding spaniels, playing tug, cuddling, chewing bones and laying in front of the fire.

Joe
Also is training ready to join the team is Joe . He is a rescue merle Collie x German Shepard and the younger sibling of Jef.
Joe is a competitive agility dog and also enjoys gun dog retrieving.
Joe has found a natural ability in tracking and enjoys the challenges and training commitments. When not working Joe can be found stood next to his handler Jemma, or in the countryside on long walks.
